Redskins Defeat Chargers

On Saturday night, the Chargers surffered their 2nd straight loss to a Redskins team who came to play for 4 quarters.

The Chargers took there opening drive 62 yards for a touchdown when (QB)McCray found (WR)Shawn Foxworth on 32 yard post route for a TD, but the extra point was no good. The Chargers consistently moved the ball against the Redskins, driving the ball to the redskins 5 and 3 yard line, coming away with no points.

The defense had a lot of pressure on them, with the offense turning the ball over 5 times, giving the redskin's great field position. The defense was able to hold the redskins to 14 points.

" We still need a lot of work on both sides of the ball. We are not the same team that started the season. We need to regroup and focus on our mental part of our game. We are making to many mistakes that are causing us points and field position. We can't do anything about the players we lost, all we can do is go out each week and play hard and show everybody we still can play good football!"
