Chargers Lasso Colts 28 - 8!

The Colts started the scoring on their first drive when (FB) Andrew High took a swing pass right, broke a tackle for 12 yards and got a first down. The Colts continued to move the ball into Chargers territory with runs up the middle. The Chargers defense looked flat and out of sync. On the next play, Colts (FB) Andrew High went off the right side and broke 2 tackles and scored from 52 yards out to give the Colts the lead 8 - 0. The Colts went for two and were successful, taking an early lead in the first quarter. The Chargers offense wasted no time putting points on the board. The Chargers started their first drive on there own 35 yard line. (QB) Demarteleire hit (WR) Troy Ham on a crossing route and turn it into a 65 yard TD. The Chargers went for a 2 with (QB) Demarteleire hitting (WR) Troy Ham in the right corner to tie the game at 8 - 8 in the first quarter.

On the Colts next possession, the Chargers defense made two tackles behind the line of scrimmage and forced them into 3rd and long, giving the Chargers offense good field position. On the first play (TB) Northern took a hand off and ran 62 yards for a touchdown but the play was called back for a holding call down the field. (QB) Demarteleire rallied the troops after the call and hit 3 different receivers on the drive to set up (WR) Troy Ham on a 58 yard catch and run for his second TD early in the second quarter. The Chargers continued to add pressure to the Colts defense with their passing attack with a touchdown pass to both (WR) Donate Coles and (FB) Salaam Thompson to end the first half with a 28 - 8 lead. The Chargers didn't score in the second half and continued to struggle with the run game. The Chargers defense picked up the paces in the second half only allowing one drive inside their own 20.
