The Chargers bounce back from the 2007 season opener winning over the Colts 14-12, many questions are still about the Chargers? Can the Chargers make another run to the Title in 2007 season the Chargers are missing several players on both side of the ball , can the handle the pressure ,will the Chargers still have their swagger !

The Chargers defensive Team came out make a statement that they are still the Mighty Chargers, Colt was able to put a drive together and scored on their first drive this was the first time the Colts scored a Touchdown in three years against the Chargers defensive team , the extra point was no good. The Chargers was unable to move the ball with two holding penalty’s, the Chargers defense kept the chargers in the game with three and outs drives giving the Chargers Offensives and opportunity put a drive together with a subjection from FS Jamul Griffin we can make big play on the pass play Coach T listen to the play QB Matt McPherson hit Wry. Reggie Manley down the right side for a 72 yard touchdown passes with the extra points giving the Chargers 7-6 lead going into the half time.

The Chargers defensive team held the Colts in check with big hits and fumbles by the Colts keeping them from scoring drives , until  late in the Third quarter the Colts was able to make  big  plays on  two pass plays was able the to finish the drive with  scoring a touchdown on a 5 yard run . The Chargers defensive team steps up with interception by DB Ernest Giddings who ran 98 yards for a touchdown to seal the chargers first win 14-12

But we still need a lot of work on the Offensive line is making a lot of mistake stopping drive with penalties  and not picking up the blitz’s we need our  line to make better commitment to their craft ! The Chargers defensives team needs better run stopping and tackling,
