The Chargers strike the Ravens 14-0

The Chargers came to play today with returning players on both side of the ball the Chargers pride was back! The Chargers defensive team held the Ravens in check the Ravens only crossing 50th yard line twice. Defensive End David Carter& LB Maurice Gin draw lead the defensive team with their first shut out of the 2007 season.

The Chargers Offensives players many starters on the Offensive line, but QB Matt McPherson who missed the game with injury shoulder, WR/ Reggie Manley took over the snaps and completed 7 for 112 yards and 6 carries for 73 yards for a 1 touchdown keeping the Offensive a live with big runs, FB Salaam Thompson kept the running game going with 12 carries & 72 yards with a 5 yard touch down to seal the game.

Coaches Corner:

The Chargers defensive team was ready to with two fumbles recovery and several sacks keep the pressure offensive of the Ravens. We need to work harder on the Offensive side of the ball, we need to finish drive to be successful! In the last two weeks we had opportunity but didn’t finish the drives
